Mere & Top Lake

October 1st saw a life long ambition achieved for myself, Derek and Rob! 

 

Having worked in the bait game for 15 years it has always been an ambition of mine to one day run and have my own lakes and on October 1st this year that dream came true as we are now the lease holders for the formerly Cleverley Mere and Top Lake in Hatfeild Peveral, Essex.

As you can imagine its been a massively exciting time and one myself and the team will do everything we can to make a success of it! 

Both lakes hold a good stock of carp to 40lb, indeed both hold more then 15 x 30s in each. with 60-80 fish again in each. 

Indeed both lakes are situated just a stones throw from the A12 giving great access to the lakes. With plenty of shops near by and Ds Cafe being a perfect place to meet prior to arriving at the lake.

A lot of work has gone into the lakes over the last few months with a continued program to work to over the coming months in readiness for next year! So Please read the below information. 

 

***2020/21 Announcement***

 

The plans are as follows, as from April 1st 2020 both the “Mere” and Top lake” will run as a part syndicate part exclusive basis. 

 

***Syndicate***

 

35 paying members with access to both lakes at a cost of £375 for the year.  (syndicate full) 

 

10 winter tickets will also be available from November 1st 2020 to March 31st 2021. 

 

There will also be a waiting list in order, for you to put your name down. 

 

***Exclusives***

Exclusives are limited to 20 weeks per lake.

Friday to Monday

Full week, Monday to Monday or Friday to Friday.

£20/night for 10 anglers

Additional Information

No exclusives in June, January and February. 

 

To book, a minimum 50% non refundable deposit is required with the final payment due no later then 1 month before you are due to arrive.  

 

When there is an exclusive on either lake no syndicate members will be allowed to fish “said” lake while it’s booked. 

 

We are now starting a waiting for 2021 there is a £50 joining fee which is non refundable (this is so we know people are serious and cover admin needed to keep your details etc)
