Hi Lads

A friend of mine, rich took me up to linear for my first couple of nights fishing on oxlease, when we got there we found that it wasnt fishing as well as usual, we settled for a couple of pegs where we saw the most fish activity -mainly on the surface-but hoped they would drop in the night. I spodded out mixed particle soaked with the new dip, your mixed pellet and plenty of the new boilies ( mixed sizes and chopped/whole ) over gravel to silt seam and fished pva bags of your mixed pellet with the new hard hookers.Rich got a fish of 23lb fairly quickly so we thought we were both on for afew, i didnt have anything until the night when i lost my first fish trying to stop it taking out riches lines ( he wouldnt of been happy ). - Not to worry though because another wasnt to far in coming - a 19lb mirror - followed shortly afterwards buy my new pb mirror of 31lb 8oz, sorted - first night on oxlease and the first time with the new bait and i get a new pb, the next day was just another lost fish to me, but when the night came again i had a 28lb mirror and 17lb mirror, all the while rich was not getting a touch even though we were putting our baits fairly close together-i gave him a ribbing ( should of been using tails up - dumbass ), so all in all a great first trip to oxlease and a great first trip out on the new one, spot on bait again lads and even more of a hard decision which flavour i use.
