Tackle and Rig: century fs 31/2tc, shimano super ultegra loaded with 12lb korda adrenaline, 2oz lead, 4inch korda supernatural to a size 8 fox longshank.

Story: After catching a couple of low doubles, i spotted some movement in a small bay so decided to take a look. I spotted some bubbles close in so dropped a small pva bag as near as possible without spooking them. I hadn't even clipped the boobin on when the line was ripped out of my hands. After a 10 minute battle i finally netted it. With a little help from friends the fish was weighed at 30lb on the nose.
