The capture of this 44lb 9oz common was the reward of 7 years hard work on a very tricky kent lake, there have been highs and lows with me catching 17 30lbers on the way before i had one of the 40lb commons the lake holds. Ii caught it on a 14mm ocm fluro fished on a zig with a 10lb hooklink size 10 hook with heavy weed it give me a awsome battle.

I also had commons of 28lb-17lb 2oz and a 21lb mirror on 14mm pro fish fished on the bottom, i must say a BIG thanks for the pukka bait as its been a big help to this capture, also just got back from a 48 hour sesssion and had mirrors of 23lb 8oz 31lb2oz 33lb 4oz and a 27lb common all on pro fish.
