Hi Ash & Ed
PB again on SC25 18 mm boilies.
I did not think that I would be writing to you so soon again.
Well what a great 58 hrs of fishing I have just had. This was at my
Essex syndicate water again and involved the SC25 range again.
Pre – baited on three occasions leading up to Sunday and this
comprised of
SC25 pellet, hemp, sweet corn which had been soaked in SC25 dip and
SC25
crushed/whole boilies.
Two of these baits were in the margin and one was in a channel of
approx
12’ in depth.
Sunday started off with a day of snow then rain and then clear sky’s
and
the first fish arrived at 3pm and this was a 14.5lb common.
The next fish arrived at 8pm a 34lb mirror my new PB (Pic attached)
Well the start of Monday brought some more snow and sleet again with a
light breeze.
Monday night saw a very heavy frost which at 6.15 in the morning
playing the
mirror of 9lb was very noticeable as that warmth of the sleeping
bag was so attractive.
A frost again on Tuesday morning saw at 3am another common of 24lb.
Up at sun rise to re-bait and spod out some more particles and a few
boilies.
The day brought some much needed sunshine with patchy cloud and for
the first
time this year I saw some of the smaller carp swimming in the
shallower
waters enjoying that additional sunlight. Did show them the floaters
but
they showed no interest at all not surprisingly.
9 am saw the arrival of another common at 14.5lb in excellent
condition.
Saw the day out to 6pm and completed the day with a 21.5lb mirror
(photo attached)
So at the end of the three days my tally showed.
Sorry only two photo's of me holding fish as I was on my own at the
lake and the photo's of the other fish that I have are just the fish on
the unhooking mat.
