Heads Down for Tails Up’s BBQ

It seems that, not only are Tails Up sponsoring the Horton Complex, but now we’ve been roped in to sponsoring the open day BBQ as well. Fear not though, as we won’t actual be involved in any cooking “at least I hope not” merely “as always” supply the finest ingredients.

It will also be a chance for any of the guy’s fishing Church Lake this year, to have a look at some of our products including the new bait.

As some of you may already know, with the help of head bailiff Del, and fisheries manager Mike, we’ve been feeding the Horton residents the new bait (which is still in the early development stage), with the hope of getting some good feedback.

Well, both Ash and I have been astounded at the response from these prestigious, and wary  fish, which has been beyond our wildest dreams. The fish have been on it from day one, in close, out in the middle, where ever the baits gone in the fish haven’t been long to follow. In fact we went down to the complex last week, with in 20 minutes of walking round had our first sight of some really big Horton lumps, “for all of a minute or so“ before the water was to muddied up to see anything over the bait.

With any luck, come the start of the season it won’t be long before the new bait claims it’s first Horton Carp.
