It’s been a while

August 2007

So, long time no hear.  I can’t  quite believe it’s been nearly a month since I last sat down for a bit of web site attention.

What’s been going on? Well I’ve just put a few of the latest catch reports up, which include a couple of  pretty special fish! But on our part both Ash and I have been trying to sneak in as much time on the bank as we can, with this weather being as good as it is..

In between the overnighters and  weekends, it’s also that time of year when you have to start thinking about the colder months. Any spare time has been filled with Winter Mixes, Fluoro  Pop Up’s and one or two other little Winter surprises.

I have to take time out  to congratulate Dave Mag on winning the Anglers Mail,  Nash Carp Cup, which just reinforces our view that he’s one of the very best anglers in the country at the moment. We are all very proud and happy to have you as part of the  team Dave. As with all of the team, Dave’s innovative thinking and ideas are ever present in all of our new products and services.

In that vein, the new bait is starting to take shape nicely, and I think the name that’s stuck is The Pro fish. As when we were putting the bait together we certainly didn’t ignore the Tails Up’s Protavit heritage. But a lot of things have changed in the past 20 years and the array of ingredients that are available to us now allow us to take it to the next level. With all new products though, thorough testing is the key so watch this space.
