Tails Up Announce for 2007
OCM and SC25 on the Red Fish Mix

When Ash first came to Tails Up he wanted to develop  a bait that he could use on short overnight sessions but that would also be sustainable and identifiable as a food source.  With this in mind all the ingredients had to be quality and cater for all the nutritional requirements throughout the year.

The other must was digestibility.  The products had to be completely digestible even in a colder climate when the fish’s metabolism slows down.   This was a big ask, but in the Red Fish Mix we believe we have done just that.  Once we were completely happy and confident with the mix - to enhance the attraction and pulling power - a number of flavour combinations were tried.  The flavours are all pure, hand picked and blended uniquely for Tails Up.  This is how we can guarantee the quality, concentration and sustained attract ability.

When it comes down to putting flavour combinations together it is all about experience, personal preference and watching carp reaction to food.  A number of combinations were put together and well tested in the field.  But it didn’t take long to see that two stood out head and shoulders above the rest.  The Orange and Condensed Milk (OCM) and the Salmon and Super Crab (SC25).  Both of these food sources have been out there on test for nearly two seasons now, the results have not come as a surprise, they have both hauled and absolutely taken waters apart.  Waters like Slivermere, Cray Fish Pool, Abbots, Amwell, , Kinsmead 1, The Manor (Essex) and even Wraysbury. These Two Baits have been the responsible for literally dozens and dozens of PBs and many lake records along the way, the most recent being the Cemex Rockford Record of 47lb 2oz…
